Confluent Cattle Company
Our Story
Confluent Cattle Company raises cattle in wide open pastures and are grass fed, never confined or in a feedlot. We strive to have cattle that fit our environment and don't require 'crutches' like chemical wormers or antibiotics — we never inject them with growth hormones or steroids!
We raise them in nature and they produce without all those extras because we like our cattle to be naturally grown just how God intended them to be!
The Ranch
Nestled in Southeast Missouri, our ranch spans 500 acres. For generations, the Anderson family has called this land home — working it, nurturing it, and building something worth passing down.
Our herd is intensively grazed throughout our ranch eating a very diverse and natural stand of multiple grass species as well as forbs and herbs that also grow without any synthetic fertilizers or manmade inputs. Our herd has been 'culled' aggressively over the years to end up with only the best nutrient dense beef that can thrive in this environment.

The Land
We finish steers for approx. 180 days on an all natural grain ration that supplements the grasses that they eat during the finishing phase. Once they are 'finished' with a good fat cap and marbling throughout they are processed into the finest all natural grass fed and grain finished beef around.
They will usually always grade as 'choice' or 'select'.
What We Stand For
Our cattle have room to roam on natural grass pastures year-round.
We never inject our cattle with artificial growth hormones or steroids — ever.
The Anderson family has operated this land for generations — and it shows in everything we do.
How It Works
Buying direct from the ranch is simple. Here's what the process looks like from start to finish.
Reach out to Mark directly to express your interest in a half or whole beef. Mark will get you on the list and keep you updated as your steers move through the finishing phase.
Once your steers are finished and ready, Mark will reach out to confirm your order. A $500 deposit is required at that time to reserve your half or whole beef. This ensures your beef is held and scheduled for processing.
Mark will take the steers in to be processed. Pricing is based on rail weight — the weight of the carcass after processing — so you know exactly what you're getting and what you're paying for. No surprises.
Once processed and packaged, your beef will be vacuum sealed, frozen, and ready for pickup. From our ranch to your freezer — as fresh and honest as it gets.
